Choi Do-yeon is a small-time gaming streamer barely scraping by in a cramped semi-basement apartment. One day, he receives a mysterious game link from Sakje-hyung, an older acquaintance from his hometown and a fellow creator who has always looked out for him. Thinking nothing of it, he downloads a game called Heart-pounding Ghostly Poem.

The moment he starts playing, strange and unsettling figures begin to appear, things that clearly should not exist within a normal game. Before he can make sense of what is happening, reality twists around him. He is no longer just playing. Instead, he becomes trapped inside a dangerous dating simulation where the characters are not human but vengeful spirits, and every choice he makes could determine whether he survives or becomes another victim.
