One day, the protagonist Seishiro rescues a woman inside a dungeon. She is an Oni, a high ranking class embedded with superior Mana. Over time, the two build a bond that serves as a bridge between humans and Oni, completely unaware that this very woman would betray him and strip away everything he ever held dear.

The story’s better than anything I imagined, but it makes my damn blood boil, I’m just happy they resolve the initial vengeance, or are seeming to. I’m up to ch 4 so I can’t be completely certain, but what I’ve seen so far is enough to calm my heart and wait for ch 5
When I bookmarked this story to come back to later, I did “[4]” (telling me my ch), then I wrote “bitch wife” after it. Not demon wife, not I’m gonna kill my wife, just bitch wife. And I have a few stories with cunts and bitches, but she is so frustrating that she earns the title of bitch wife
