Log In to CommentIt's an okay story, but the author is overly patriotic and shoehorns anachronistic Korean stuff into the medieval European setting. For instance, chapter 6 has a Korean recurve bow as a noble's heirloom that the protagonist, as a Korean, knows all about, falsely claiming it's completely different from a normal recurve bow and repairing it using water buffalo horns, whale sinew, and bamboo that's all somehow readily available, and in chapter 9, the protagonist uses a Korean baby arrow and bamboo guide, falsely claiming that it's inherently better than other arrows, even comparing it to a rifle. While they fly farther and faster, they fall short of normal arrows in all other aspects, including stopping power and versatility, yet they were somehow able to take down a powerful enemy at close range after it was shown that a normal arrow was ineffective literally because of the power of being Korean.
If you like the story, I'd recommend reading Arcane Sniper. Find the Reaper Scans translation if you can and avoid the Tapas/Webtoon translation. The story is almost exactly the same except the protagonist is a Korean army sniper instead of a blacksmith/swordsman/archer and the author showcases the power of weapons from places like America, Russia, China, Japan, Germany, England, and many others in addition to Korea.
having just powered through the series I'm now wondering who the people on the cover are... the woman is likely Nell but the outfit is wrong and even though she has the blacksmith class we never see her smithing... and the glasses guy.. is he the CEO dude that owns/runs the Ares game/system? odd choice to put on the cover...

The premise was interesting at first, but reading on it goes spiraling downward real fast. The storytelling was... crap. Abysmal. I tried to find more polite word for it, but failed.
It's only saving grace was the artwork, which is decent.
The bleeding heart MC that's lucky being funded by generous friend, goes OP from the start, and plot villains that goes "you're only classless, level 1, you can't possibly do...., impossible..." got beaten by plot armor, everyone bows to the godly skill of the MC, rinse and repeat, like those chinese xianxia thousand chapters mass produced novel. A chuniibyo daily wetdream.
