    Great story idea, poor implementation.
    Despite the story telling us why the games are important it’s never made to feel like they’re important which is wild. It’s also never really shown why the ranks are so important beyond higher better lower is bullied.

    Combat-wise, the Mc keeps getting stronger, but is shown poorly making him feel static. Also his weapon looks stupid, and not cus it’s a gun blade, but because how the gun fires and how they made the gunblade look. Seriously how do you screw up a gunblade this badly? Gun blades are awesome.

    I’d say take a peek with the expectation it’s not great

    20chaps in and the premise of a tree controlling gaming worlds that effect whatever randomness the author says it effects is a poor story to me. The games bleed together, the games bleed into reality, and there seems to be no established rule for why or how the games effect reality. Maybe it gets good but 2stars so far and ive no interest to continue atm.
