Average 5/10 story not worth investing other stories to read out there.

Its better than that. It just has 5/10 bits. The 8/10+ bits more than make up for the slow/weird stuff

wow. had to make an account just so i could promote this manhua.

genuinely 9/10. a rating i would give to maybe 1/100 manhua out there. it starts off very lighthearted and makes you think it’ll be comedy centered (has some great moments with it as well, honestly), but it slowly develops into one of the finest examples of great writing and, more importantly for manhuas, a masterclass in scheming.

the story is wonderfully thought out with plot points a hundred chapters back being relevant. the mc is likable and constantly keeps you on your toes, something i fear even the most highly acclaimed stories often fail to do.

try to also show some love to the original author as updates are slowing down considerably on the og sites due to lack of funding.

Good stuff but 60 chapters behind a paywall is crazy. 10chapters is $5 so that would be $30 to read those. That is crazy. Prefer asura’s subscription based paywall. At least $20 gets me upwards of hundreds of chapters throughout the year
