Da-in suddenly finds himself inside a superhero comic.
In the original, his favorite character — Stardust — is doomed to a life of tragedy. So in order to protect her and give her a chance at happiness, Da-in resolves to take on the role of the villain Egotistic.
He deliberately stages terrorist attacks to force Stardust to grow stronger, while secretly preventing all the grim events from the original storyline. But as he continues his schemes, he not only gains unexpected public support… he also starts drawing Stardust’s suspicion.
At first, she treats him as nothing more than an enemy. Yet little by little, her walls begin to crumble — until one day, her feelings turn into obsession with the very villain she was meant to fight.
