Was the idea to feel like she deserved to die and be happy because of it? Because if it was then this author failed miserably. Not only did she not ever actually hope for MC’s death, she even came back for him eventually. Was she a gold digger? Yeah. Was she an evil person who deserved to die? Nah. Honestly this left a ‘bad taste’, since MC didn’t even try to save her, and from that memory “they” (to be specific, the guy who’se body MC possessed) actually had some happy moments together, and MC being so callous towards her passing. Just left a sh1t taste from this author and this protagonist. This could’ve been handled/written way more respectfully, without even killing her. Should’ve left the death scene to a person who actually deserved it.
