If Kai is a pre-isekai assassin, shouldn’t the knowledge of bullets and how to make them, be a common sense for him? For cases like this – running out of bullets and unable to obtain more the usual way. Because this little problem undermines his entire experience and makes his character look sloppy and unfinished.

I mean, wouldn’t he’s using his real-world knowledge to imagine bullets and it’s working relatively successfully, that’s what he just said? so I don’t really get this comment. being able to translate something you understand on a basic level in terms of kinetics and translate that into an imaginary thing using a construct you never had to think about before and has no real world equivalent is already a huge task and he got it to work pretty well and will no-doubt continue to improve it.
There is no reason a modern assassin would need to know how to make bullets from scratch with no technology or specialized tools. A fraction of the effort that would take and you could make a bow and kill somebody with a gun.
most modern assassins don’t make there own bullets he may know the components to make it up but not to assemble at an expert level. His exprience is still very much real as he is able to trace, disguise or hide himself. he’s job is simply to use the weapon that he never once before ran out of, only now does he realise this would be a problem since this worl isn’t as advanced as his other world
and you know this how? is there some forum for assassins where they give out this info? making bullets isn’t hard. you can buy everything you need very easily and do it at home. there are freaking youtube videos showing how to do it. at the very least, an assassin that knows guns would likely know about bullets and different calibers, and know how they work at a basic level.
I couldn’t make cordite from scratch, or a modern primer. Black powder is unlikely to work properly with most automatics, and would require decent primers. I could easily manage flintlocks and might make cap and ball revolvers, depending on what chemicals I have to work with. That’d be a lot of time, effort, and resources, as well as some trial and error that likely involves explosions. Black powder is bad enough. Mercury fulminate is outright evil.
I’m curious what the audience looks like that actually enjoys the elf and catgirl classic isekai harem configuration. for me, it’s something I put up with while hoping the characters are made interesting in their own right, but I have to imagine there are some people who actually enjoy it otherwise it wouldn’t be so prolific.
a hot elf girl and hot cat girl you can’t really miss with that (if the personality is decent at least). i don’t really see the appeal of them being lolis though. if they were grown women, fine but they look like kids. as for why it always happens, its a fantasy world, why would the author not pair the MC with fantasy races? its better than the MC being paired with nothing but human girls. dragons and other races are also done all the time.
