I didn’t notice it at first, but it looks like the God’s blessing (immortality) is well-known. In my defense, it got introduced along the guild features. And the rapier redheads were surprised to see MC’s men resurrect. Anyways, I think for a town that has God’s blessing, it isn’t getting taken advantage of by that much. If we follow the usual stories, a king would probably stay in that town forever. And there would be endless disputes, and even people, especially those who broke taboos, would probably never be allowed there. The mayor is also kinda ass. But I guess these all aint happening because it’s protected by a god or something idk…

The whole gods blessing isn’t that great when you conider that right outside the walls are infinitely regenerating monsters.
Then there is the size to consider and startegic location. Most castles are as large if not larger than most towns.
Finally as it is a starter town with level limits it may not be healthey for aristocracy or large military units to be stationed there as the blessing most likely has limitations and caveats.
Besides what ruler would want to make a god and all their neighbors angry.
