As someone else said, very similar to “A regressor’s tale of cultivation”. The pace here seems to be a bit faster in comparison, but the art and plot are great nonethless. One thing of note I have noticed here is that the main character is more ruthless, typical of a cultivator from most chinese manhuas. If you compare this mc to the one from regressor’s, you will notice that Li Fan is not afraid of killing or tricking people (even though he seems to have common sense).
Unfortunately, I have felt it lacking in fighting scenes and high-tension moments. This should not be relevant for now, however, as it is only at the start and (as of the moment of this comment) only 25 chapters are available.

I enjoyed this very much and might tag along for the next chapters. I’d give it an 8/10: Regressor’s is better in almost all aspects, but still something I’d definitely revisit a few more times.
