    35+7 yr old man runs off crying... Which is seriously off-putting as a reader, but also a lot of stuff just makes no sense if they see him as a 7 yr old. He might be your lord noble, but he is also a 7 yr old boy, so they are technically also guardians when traveling. Yet they just forgive every time he takes needless risk just because he says some cute line about wanting to be helpful.

    I'm guessing this is building to some future conflict from exposing himself that'll just get resolved with 'the power of friendship and goodness' and everyone will freak out but then forgive him cause it all worked out anyway. Its still irritating to keep happening though..
