When you say he’s weak I don’t know if you are refering to him barely winning against the S-rank archdemon boss, or getting caught and beat up by the chairman’s guys. The getting caught thing was just to infiltrate without much trouble, I assume. As for the S-rank boss their ranking system is probably: S-rank hunter can 1v1 an A-rank boss, where S-rank boss would need an SS-rank hunter to 1v1. MC having trouble 1v1’ing an S-rank boss while being S-rank himself makes sense, whereas him 1v1’ing S-rank hunters is easy since he’s shown he can fight an SS-rank threat boss already.
