One of the best monster isekais I've read, right up there with "So I'm a Spider? So What?" It's an emotional roller coaster that never dips too far in one direction and never undercuts the drama at the wrong times. The main character is clever, but not a genius, and kind, but not naively self-sacrificing. Also, he accidentally acquires a cute "wife" who's almost as badass as himself and very much the jealous type. For anyone reading this, this is the best place to read it since a number of other subpar translations exist and if you go to an aggregation site they usually go with whichever is fastest, not best. The other person who posted obviously only read a few chapters and then gave up since it's not an OP power-fantasy; don't believe them. Also, no, I'm not an AI or a bot in case anyone was thinking that.

This shit sucks so bad. The main character never learns or grows and constantly makes utterly stupid decisions even though he should know better. He doesn't make use of the knowledge he has and acts surprised by things he's already experienced multiple times before.

On top of that, whoever the translators are for this are fucking embarrassing. They give characters weird southern American accents and turn their dialogue into stupid shit like "son of a gun" which makes all the characters sound like they're retarded.
