Our Boi has some bite to him, I like it, probably MC fatigue, but I’m sick and tired of dense or wimpy MC’s that never grow, don’t get me wrong, I bet it’s more realistic that it takes time to develop confidence and such (not the dense part though, that’s just an infuriating mechanic to let us readers ship with our favourite or preferred choice) but i prefer ones that grow out of it quickly or are savage from the start.
