This magic system makes no sense. If he can manipulate life can’t he cause cancer in the enemy? Or just turn them into a flesh blood? Or make his arm bigger and crush them?
Even healing not the person, but the bacteria on a small wound to cause an infection. Our immune system is fighting constantly against nature. All he needs is to boost those. Plus if it’s life control, can’t he just stop someone from healing? A small wound would bleed you to death.
Hell with life control he could just use lifesteal, drain the life right out of them, literally. Instead of infusing your mana to heal them use it to have theirs heal you
