Decent chapter but i hoped they could have made a better excuse to breaking free from a force as ‘incredible’ as the cube than ‘He was nice to me so im actually fine that his family destroyed my entire village as a kid
dude he saved her more then 4 times at this point, I would also be conflicted if my friend who saved me 4 times and is also not part of the assination of my village. also we can still see in the end she doesn't talk to the count so she doesn't forgive him but does forgive Han Siva
I dont have a problem that she forgave Han Shia, It makes sense and I actually LIKE that she forgave him. I was just saying the the cube amplified her negative emotions to the extreme but she just shook off the cube's force all by herself via plot.
The emotion cube draws out ALL latent emotions. So the dark magicians tried to make her desire for revenge overpower her desire to protect Siha, but in her heart of hearts she wanted to protect Siha more. I think it makes sense plot-wise since Adela knows Siha was not personally responsible for the massacre, plus all the time they spent together intensified their bond. In the original world she would not have had the close bond with Siha and the dark magicians would have succeeded.
Nah. that's the trick. It amplified emotions plural. All of them. Budding love too, it seems. And so we've got this heartwarming development.
