They are checking for ore theft even there? Who would put a sharp edged chunk of ore THERE of all places? If someone survives putting it in (and extracting it again) without croaking from internal bleeding, then they have definitely earned it, I’d say.
Also: They are keeping SLAVES and don’t care much if they live or die. They have an entire landfill dedicated to dispose of slave corpses. How would anyone think they would keep their promises about some Paraiso Pass and actually let any one go?
