Pronouns for the female characters (Meiba and Ryu Sei) are wrong in some parts.
In case translators or proofreaders are not native speakers, a friendly reminder that in English we use gendered pronouns based on the gender of the character/person, not whether the non-living noun is masculine or feminine. It’s a common error I see when translating to another language that doesn’t gender the nouns in grammar, or for language where there isn’t a split equivalent to he/she or his/her.
Another type of error comes from the mix-up of nouns and adjectives (I have not come across this one). Things like ‘devout’ (adjective) used in place of ‘devotion’ (noun).
Both types of errors are common things to look for when copy-editing machine-translated text.
