Think I’m done reading this now… MC even acknowledges himself that he is a useless coward. All he does is pure self-interest. He is a failure of a knight and a person, and should be penalized into oblivion for some of the pathetic things he has done by now. Author just gave up on actually having the system talk or penalize him, when it was doing so for minor things earlier. Now he can let archdemons go for money (which went on to abduct/murder thousands of more people, at a weakened city that is weakened because he blew up the walls on purpose), refuses any responsibility, doesn’t really care about anyone but himself and those immediately close to him. He is absolute garbage and doesn’t deserve his powers at all, that part he got right in this chapter. This woman would have done 1000x more with the same gift. Hard to read a story about an OP MC when the MC is filth and all you can root for is for him to die. Same with all sociopath MC’s.
