It can force out anything unwanted so it can get rid of the dust and maybe at least make gordon be able to think again

It worked for that one poisoned guy but it might be too far gone

Unless author forgot

that was for mind control bc someone else was exerting their influence on a person, but only the mind-controlled person was registered for entry. in this case, gordon is mutated so I doubt they could just say “only grant entry to him but not the mutated part of him.” unless it has some type of biological function where it can reverse a cell mutation, which uhh… seems unlikely. I did have the same thought though and was surprised they didn’t try, but maybe it just seemed obvious to them.

I think transformation via consumption of magic stones is different from poisoning. The poison is technically curable, but I doubt it’s the same thing with something you ate and is part of your body now. My best analogy is: think of a bowl of water as the body. It has one big rock in it, as the poison. You must have a clean bowl of water. You can take out that rock easily, and the water will be left. Now, imagine if powdered juice (magic stones) is mixed into the water. Can you separate those? Through evaporation, but then you’d lose the water and the entire purpose of having the water is gone. Hopefully this makes sense-
