Fantastic author. The ominous undercurrent was there in suspicion, but it’s been beautiful and bright the whole time (as said, ominously so).
Even despite that, the reveal was still shocking enough in just how depraved it was, and the MC’s reactions were fantastically done for a mature-beyond-years child, especially him finally snapping.
Wasn’t any overly verbose melodrama, nor any out-of-place anguish like other stories.
Just observation and reaction, as it goes IRL. But still managing to be entertaining, despite the semi-realism.
