In a modern world where Gates leading to “Dungeons” exist and “Awakened” individuals conquer them, our protagonist Enma Akagi, a non-powered individual, supports his younger sister Ayumi—an Awakened streamer who broadcasts her dungeon raids. However, one day, the siblings are suddenly attacked by an unknown assailant. When Enma regains consciousness, the first thing he sees is the brutal, lifeless body of Ayumi.

Consumed by rage and a thirst for vengeance, Enma is approached by a mysterious demon named “Vox.” Ready to throw everything away for revenge, Enma forms a contract with Vox and gains a unique ability: the more he burns (figuratively and literally), the stronger he becomes. To avenge his sister’s death, Enma becomes a “flame-fueled streamer,” taking justice into his own hands by punishing evildoers within the dungeons—those beyond the reach of the law—and steadily gaining fame.
