Victims in these kinds of cases usually can’t do shit. It’s not bc you go to rehab that you’ll get better. Hard drugs leave enormous impact. A permanent one. With Gou being her bf too, she has even less people to talk to. Anyone she talks to will just consider her a drug addict and might arrest her without actually caring about Gou.

She’s became a drug addict. She’s in an abusive relationship and can’t quit due to her addiction. She thought Mc was dead and went into a spiral. While her ex lover suddenly became alive and well. She thought she could turn back to the old times, rekindle their relationship living a blissful life in contrast with her current bleak life. But Mc rejected her, maybe because thoughout his 15 years in prison not once did she ever communicate and support him? So he felt betrayed. Even then, he apologised to her saying its all his fault. I’m not sure why Mc rejected her. Knowing she couldn’t reclaim the previous life she had, in her high, she decided the burn it all.
I can’t blame her, I can’t blame the Mc as well. Just tragic.
