That's not how stitches that close a wound are supposed to look; they're supposed to go across the cut to hold the two sides of the injury together.
i mean, do you really think the author or artist is going for realism/looking up actual references? if anything i'm surprised it doesn't make it straight up magic XD: tho wouldn't be surprised if korean techniquethat'd be diff
They did say it was "like a sewing machine", but yes, even a sewing machine can (and regularly does) can at least do a zigzag stitch or box stitch rather than just a straight stitch.
...But as @sdf said, this ain't about realism at all 😂
actualy there are different ype of stitches the one u mentioned that goes fom 1 side to other is normally used bec its easy and the one he did was harder and actually not commonly used only specialist do it
That's not how stitches to close a wound is supposed to look.
