They did say it was “like a sewing machine”, but yes, even a sewing machine can (and regularly does) can at least do a zigzag stitch or box stitch rather than just a straight stitch.

actualy there are different ype of stitches the one u mentioned that goes fom 1 side to other is normally used bec its easy and the one he did was harder and actually not commonly used only specialist do it
