She’s really trying too hard to be his knight in shining armor it’s kinda pathetic
I don’t think there’s an issue with her trying to defend someone who she has only known for a limited amount of time. Just because you know that he’s strong doesn’t mean she’s aware. Sounds like to me you can’t handle seeing a strong woman wanting to defend a man she fancies. Yet, when it’s the man saving a damsel in distress, you find no issue that the man is taking it upon himself to help her? That is what makes stories boring—when they have no strong or vocal female characters and instead make it a self-insert of one strong guy doing cool things, women want him, and guys hate him. Just let this character be an interesting one to see grow, then hate them from the jump.
