I’m guessing the other relatives are gold diggers who didn’t help when his dad died
Here they come to ask for some sap of honey😂 they didn't even help mc and his mother when his dad died🫠
Some relatives is annoying, some of them never help you when your in yours lowest time of your life, they mostly avoid you, and now if you're on the peak of you life they starting to buzz around like flies.
In the story they also said the mother worked multiple jobs alone so it prob means that her relatives on both sides never bothered to contact her and help both of them when his father died. its sad
