As the story from there flows til here, the villains are playing dumb and not strategically efficient when they could have done so, by teaming up against them. They had the advantage, they have the fort set up, yet wow they are so dumb not to protect the core of the fort. A domain that even “Gods” couldnt breach? Yeah right. But i believe the wording used here is just too strong worded so… the immersion is ruined.

Justice and Evil, in the perspective of the Gods, are all mere social constructs, thus in the eyes of readers, its all too predictable and bland (Justice is set to win here, with the villain narrative being purposely capped). There was no Causality of battles to be seen here, but carried by “Justice solves everything”.
