Everyone’s so happy when a lot of people died. They didn’t even mourn the death of 2 s ranks though the other one deserves it. It’s like nothing happened. The characters are unfeeling. Maybe author’s fault.
Honestly its the pacing i find the biggest issue with
this was the first time he has shown strength proportion to what his level and skills should indicate
there is no way you are over level 1000 with just 1300 points in strength
there is not a good enough ratio between levels and stats
he should have been surpassed s ranks ages ago with that in mind.
He is about to fight 4 gods
yet he didnt ask for any information as to when they would show up

all of that is a problem with pacing
the author is just blowing through story beats and not allowing any of them to breathe
this arc with the monster who survived could have been really interesting
could have made it when he was revived he had a portion of the MC’s strength since his whole thing was absorbing power
better yet
we could have given the MC an emotional growth by having that monster inhabit his sisters body or something
so much could have been done with the arc but ultimately it boils down to just super fast and bad pacing
which makes the power creep feels unearned and forced
