Kyle might've behaved like a pos but he was literally just a child, he was born with a terminal illness for ffs but his dad tried to train him in swordsmanship knowing it would only bring his morale down calling him useless always and kept getting angry with him. That's not how you raise a normal child much less one with a terminal illness and the fact that he has to prove his worth to get support which is something parents do unconditionally. He's just a fucking shit head pos i couldn't care less if his life turns miserable, his son unleashing the demon on his family was maybe just karma
