I think I’m supposed to feel bad for the mc since he seems like an abuse victim, but… holy cow, turn it down a notch author! He’s so wimpy that it’s annoying. Like I only have so much empathy before understanding turns into groaning and wanting to leave.Maybe if you introduced the mc while he was being abused, but just showing that he got yelled at and was treated unfairly by some kids isn’t enough for me to feel bad for him. He should have had cigarette burns on his skin and clothes along with clothes that don’t fit. maybe a scene where he has scars all over his body that are hidden with long sleeves.
