I hate when authors create a system then the MC doesn’t bother to look over all the options before just picking w/e the author already plot armored for them. So many MC’s don’t deserve these system opportunities. They take it for granted often. Never “omg this is life changing, I can’t believe this is happening!” It’s always like “oh a system, about time you showed up.” Then they don’t even bother trying to study or learn their new abilities/system and just do w/e because the author is lazy. Even if the author doesn’t pick them I want to see the other options. Even if you don’t show it — at least show that the MC isn’t dumb as bricks and has at least some critical thinking ability.
The MC has been getting trauma blocked for the entire story. Since he still subconsciously views it as an easy peasy game, he doesn’t really read into things. Although it may seem like a plothole in his thought, it’s more of him just being a complete dunce, when it matters he shows critical thought, but majority of the time he can’t lock in at all.
Okay, this chapter and some panels are kinda interesting! Artist’s used his brain to drew interesting panels like the mc making multiple eyes to search for villains.
