I think his reasoning is flawed. Sure, it happened this time, but the train attack could simply be something that only happens to the new protagonist. He had no way of knowing who the next protagonist would be, and it apparently never crossed his mind that the story could be about what the Shadow of the Hero Party did after retiring, lol.
It’s out of place for there to be 2 train attacks, at most there is one transport attack with all the main characters. If they aren’t on the train then they get there with no problem.
Dude has spent more life in his current world than ours and yet believes he can get another shot at our world. The hero isn’t even from another world so a random guy not even in his own body couldn’t leave unless he dies again.
