I’m trying to think of what nation is represented here 🤔 maybe it’s my country, it’s the only one I could think of. We have awesome mineral resources but our government is kinda stupid and just hands them out like free snacks.
It’s Korea that is being represented here. They have kimchi, fried chicken (usually quite spicy), seaweed soup (meant for celebrations/birthdays) and bibimbap. It’s all delicious food but it wouldn’t be suitable for a state banquet with so many guests.
The food looks pretty good to me. Maybe it really tastes bad?
It was like quick foods I mean not that there’s anything wrong with that, but small portions at a feast that’s supposed to a super big deal and the ruling family being so supposedly wealthy makes it odd, but also could show the nations incompetency in trade. Trade is how you make up for lost resources, if that family is all trashy, I’d say that would possibly limit allies and trade routes. But they don’t do much world building for the audience here.
