    Why doesn’t he enter a blood pact with his star dragon? Please don’t tell me he’s slow enough to not realize the other two changed because they got some of his blood….

    So annoying to watch this ridiculous logic. They are just in danger if he is with them? Bullshit!

    If he is super safe what will the enemies do? They just change their target. That would endanger the people around him even more.

    There are just bad consequences. First, they are really safe, but that would mean the enemies are brainless idiots. Second, they will be harmed, kidnapped or even killed.

      This country is probably a vassal, satellite, or just outright tremendously weaker for some reason. It's like Japain and USA military personnel - they can do almost anything what they want - murder and rape included and then soldier would just be just be "reassigned" instead of any sort of justice.
