Log In to CommentHonestly, not for the grandpa. Genocide is never the answer, and I see the grandpa as weak minded fool. Hate the author for justifying genocide in a unforgiving world where life and death is common. So what if they stole and kill humans? Humans also did the same thing. Does that justify genocide? Such twisted and bullshit logic.
It in fact does justify genocide if you payed attention. The elfs dont just occasionally kill and steal from humans, its basically the only thing they do.
Like the grandpa said, elfs think humans are worth less than bugs, and that mentality has to come from somewhere and that only means that before elfs have already commited atrocities to the point where they where already hunted to "extincion" before.
Sure genocide is bad but these people hunt humans because they want to, even if it doesnt give them anything in return but satisfaction.
And the only way to stop such thinking is by getting rid of it entirely.
Is genocide bad? Yes. But Having a whole race of people trying to kill you just cuz you are inferior to them does seem to justify killing the "superior" race. imo at least
