If that’s your goal then you have time for romance. Seriously….. Just find a partner that will go with you on your journey. It be nice for once to see a manga like that. It doesn’t half to be super focused on romance. But i guess thats impossible for manga authors
Right? It’s neverending to begin with, he wants to climb to the top of an evergrowing peak. He’s basically admitting he’s going to willingly be a forever-alone even though he has multiple girls throwing themselves at him that he seems to be attracted to given that he blushes at certain things they say and physical closeness. It is such a waste to everyone involved for these “romance interests” to pop up when nothing is going to come of it, they’re literally just being used as lazy plot devices to give an excuse for the author to give more enemies.
