Log In to Commentidk, the plot is moving but this setup is so overused it's kinda lackluster.. swordmaster's youngest son has this locked bloodline trope and the evil siblings, but it worked better, my guess is because the author is doing a noble family with branch families, but is meshing many weird stuff together, like a family reunion, but making it seem like a martial competition (from sect structure) or the concept of the main family being "all that matters" but each branch family has a noble title, therefore isolating their goals.
I guess the main problem with this story is its reliance on 'he loses control of the seven wings.'
It's like, bro, give it an effing rest, let the dude have some success in his gd life without making everything about his lineal talent. I don't know why the author did this considering there's plenty of other comics out there which did the stolen bloodline/core/talent trope without resorting to straight-up blood purity racism. But that's what we got here.
Tbh, even tho I know it's just like Regressed Son of a Duke is an Assassin or whatever that I dropped a long time ago, but I like this ones premise slightly more... Maybe. It's kind of losing me in other places. I'll keep my eye on this one.
